| The Campus Ambience |

The campus, spread on 20 acres of land with herbal plants and trees, can speak volumes about the ambience. Magnificently built administrative block is located a little interior as you enter. Next you will find the academics block to the north of the skating rink. The beautiful girl’s hostel is located on the left of the skating rink .Next comes the Compact Boys Hostel. Both the hostels are semi circular at entrance, well ventilated and flooded with sun-light during the day time. At the admin and at the entrance to the hostel you will find two beautiful sculptures of a mother and her baby. Once you are inside the campus the trees greet you from the admin to the academics, from the academics to the hostel and all the way to the dining. Your eyes go green as you find greenery everywhere in the campus. A step garden is also found near the basketball court which is a delight to watch.The atheletic track can be located in front of the hostels. |

The swimming pool is near the tracks, where field events take place. The fertile soil nourishes the fresh vegetables and fruits which are hybrid.
The herbal jogging track is the highlight of our ambience. To list some rare plants:-
• Azadiracta indica (Vembu)
• Ixora sp (Virutchi)
• Leucus aspara (Thumbai)
• Mangifera jalapa(Nallu mani poo)
• We have more than seventy herbal plants in our grove apart from fruit bearing trees.
• Beautiful People- but some call them birds and animals; the geese, the emus, the love birds, the finches and the turkeys provide a feast for the eyes of the beholders |

Science theme park
We have a science theme park on the left side of the entrance to the academics. We have models such as the double ended cone, 3-D pendulum, Gear train, belts, chain, simple camera, lifting screw, revolving periscope, solar powered radio, hydro electric power plant, musical pipes and loop the loop. There are also models representing Newton’s third law , mass and inertia , principle of lever , persistence of vision and Pythagoras theorem

Meteorological centre
This is where every day’s temperature is recorded and the amount of rainfall within our campus is recorded
Water purification treatment- Is done here and this treated water is used for the plants. |

| Art is long; it is everlasting .True to this, our buildings are impressive grandeurs. Safety and security are of International standards with computerized fire fighting systems. Smoke detectors, CCTV’S and security personnel are equipped with metal detectors and a sophisticated communication system. Our buildings are designed to accommodate the needs of physically challenged also. |

Academics |

“The destiny of a nation lies in the classrooms”
The Classrooms are temples of learning, spacious enough to accommodate 25 students per class. The three-dimensional painted wall at the back of each classroom is a testimony for the artistic and aesthetic taste of the builder. Furniture is ergonomically designed and customized for every child. This enables re-grouping and round table seminars easy.
The Laboratories are quite airy with safety measures fitted adequately. We have separate, well-equipped physics, chemistry, biology, Computer and language labs. Here the students are encouraged to conduct experiments on their own. The language lab is fitted with audio-visual equipments such as digital display screens and headphones for every student.

• Specialty of teaching science-All regular class teaching has become demonstrative classes in the laboratories to facilitate the students to observe & conduct their experiments on their own.

The Laboratories are designed with due emphasis on safety and adequate ventilation. We have two separate well-equipped laboratories dedicated for physical and life sciences for handling regular course work. A third laboratory is also available for curious students to conduct experiments on their own. |

Library has a plethora of more than 50,000
books, hundreds of CDs/DVDs and many audio and
videotapes. Students can choose from
a variety of books, periodicals, journals
and newspapers. We have provision for
a comfortable audio-visual room and reprographic
facility. An array of computers is available
with networking, facilitating the access to
various national and international libraries.

| Language Lab,
Herbal Jogging Track and Aviary: |

Language Lab: Sri Vidhya Academy is Proud
to have established a language learning station
with a latest WI - FI Technology. Learning
Material of Cambridge University are used to
improve various competencies.
The Herbal Jogging Track, Unique to our
school, runs through coconut and mango grove,
having herbal plants on the either side of the
Track.
Aviary: Another special feature of the school is
the Aviary where birds born and bred in
captivity, are taken care.
Sri Vidhya Academy is probably the only school
in India that offers an astronomy club equipped with a roof-mounted
telescope and an observatory.

Teacher |
Teachers are the second parents. Well experienced, dedicated, talented and well-versed in their subjects with the motherly and fatherly qualities, are the strengths of our staff. Corporal punishment is never practiced here. The teachers students to become great personalities in the future. They guide them in every path through their friendly nature. The unique way of teaching with humor and fun makes the classroom interesting. They impart not only knowledge but also teach them to be humane. A desire to learn and excel are implanted in the young minds. Teachers are encouraged to experiment with new methods of teaching, both indoors and outdoors. Teachers are the friends, philosophers and guides for the students.
